What I do

I sell great seafood specializing in products from South America. My primary items are Chilean rock crab meat, Chilean king crab meat, Chilean shrimp meat, Chilean langostino meat, value added salmon and Argentine red shrimp. Also, I bring in Chilean Loco, Chilean mussels and other various items from South America on special order for my customers. If you are looking for that hard to find product out of South America let me know and I will get to work on it.

I am the fourth generation of the Wendt family in the seafood business. At the age of 12 my great grandfather went to work at a fish market in Sweden. My grandfather entered the business after immigrating  to the United States from Germany eventually building his company Pacific Pearl Seafoods into one of the larger seafood companies on the West Coast. My father and Uncle John both went to work at Pacific Pearl Seafoods and eventually out on their own after my grandfather retired.  In my teen years I worked for my father after school and on the weekends at Queen Anne Seafoods. Next I went to work for Giant Clam as the night manager for their Dungeness crab processing plant. I worked as a commercial fisherman in Alaska while going to college. After graduation I went to work with my uncle John at his company Seatech Corporation which I have not taken over.
